I was talking to my friend the other day and she found it really difficult to imagine what a 3D object would look like flat. Floorplans and nets baffled her. One girl who understands transforming 3D to 2D is Holly Somers. Using 3D shapes she creates the nets for them and then drapes them over the body.
Holly Somers is a girl I studied at foundation with and have just stumbled over her work, and glowed with pride. She has just graduated from LCF and her final year collection is just lovely. With muted earthy tones this simple and classic fashion collection is beautiful.
I completely love this! It's so sculptural and different.
